The Deathrow organization originated out of necessity. When three members of a highly specialized, top secret Canadian military operations group met up, they found a common bond in their passion for destruction. When the group was disbanded in late 1998, the members codenamed Death, Doc Shock and the Intoxicator found themselves unable to adapt to civilian life. The only place they could find to put their skills to use was in the violent world of professional wrestling. Making their ring debut in early 1999 for Super Internet Wrestling (SIW), the faction known as Deathrow dominated the federation quickly. The SIW president, Trevor J. Derickson, eventually realized that the group's ambition could not be mulled, and he gave up his majority interest in the company when he grew tired of enduring physical pain to he and his family. Having conquered SIW, Deathrow was now ready for the next challenge and sold off the company to its worst wrestler, as a final insult to the former owner.
Their next challenge was a short lived one, with a federation known as the International Wrestling Alliance (IWA). After taking all but one of the titles within three weeks, the organization was shut down when sponsors pulled out their advertising because of the Deathrow presence, which they said was "offensive, malicious and a horrible influence to children everywhere".
Deathrow's next adventure placed them in the impoverished streets of Mexico, working for a promotion known as the Unified Wrestling League. The three superstars were awarded large contracts for their talent, but the only way to start in the UWL is at the bottom. The Mexico sub-federation was thus the starting point for Deathrow's onslaught on the UWL . After dismantling the Mexico promotion, the trio were sent to Mainland, to allow the injuries of the "sun-fucked mud-crater" roster to heal. Deathrow was sub-sequently and expectedly banned from further competition in the UWL because of what reporters labeled "conflicts with management".
At this point, members DEATH and DOC SHOCK continued their pro-wrestling careers in the X-treme Wrestling Federation (XWF). After capturing numerous titles in the organization, it crumbled from financial problems and a spin off fed, Downtown Championship Wrestling (DCW) housed them until it too crumbled.
The clandestine cripplers are now seeking employment...

Codename: DEATH of DEATHROW |
Weighing in at 285 pounds, the 6 foot Original Big Punisher enjoys a good beer only slightly more than inflicting pain on his opponents. A four time SIW World Heavyweight Champion, one time IWA World Heavyweight Champion, one time IWA World Tag Team champion (with teammate Doc Shock), XWF Hardcore Champion, XWF Tag Team Champion (with partner Doc Shock) and DCW World Heavyweight Champion, Death has also served hard time for repeated assault and battery on SIW's Derickson family, including breaking Kim Derickson's (Trevor's wife) nose three times. |
Codename: DOC SHOCK of DEATHROW |
The lightweight of Deathrow at 221 pounds, the 6'3 Doc Shock is nonetheless a lean, mean, green machine. He has ironically been dubbed "Deathrow's Good Guy" because of his manners and gentlemanly conduct, especially when compared to his peers. The longest standing SIW European champion, a two time SIW World Heavyweight Champion, one time IWA Hardcore Champion, one time IWA World Tag Team Champion (with partner Death), one time UWL Mexico Diablo champion and XWF World Tag Team Champion (with partner Death) Doc Shock proves over and over that a vindictive ability to cripple bests size any day of the week. |
Codename: The INTOXICATOR of DEATHROW |
Deathrow's unsolved mystery, the 6'3, 243 pound Intoxicator defies logic by being the only man alive who can polish of a two-four of Molson Dry, go for a 10 km run and then go for breakfast. A hardcore legend, Intox was the longest standing SIW hardcore champion. He held the belt two times, and when he recaptured the gold, it was at the death of his opponent, Rage, who tumbled off a cement pier. Many opponents and reporters have felt the wrath of his trademark beer keg with emblazoned Canadian flag, as the dents in it will testify. |
Codename: The SHOCKETTES of DEATHROW |
What more can be said other than "wow" about (from left) Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice? These three hooked up with Doc Shock during one of his early wrestling shows in SIW, when he accidentally spilled Dr. Pepper on Sugar. In a most heartfelt apology, he ripped off his opponent's T-shirt and offered to clean the DP stain with it. After the show, the trio had backstage passes and met Doc formally. He made them an offer they could not refuse: escort him to the ring, distract his opponents, and make lots of money. |
